HB 605 Testimony
On April 16th 2021, Representative Barbara Gervin-Hawkins contacted TMARA requesting a testimony for the April 20th public hearing, in favor of House Bill 605, which adopts a healthy and safe school water plan in public schools to test for copper and lead. Roughly 25,000 schools across the state have not undergone water inspections, and this bill addresses the concern by requiring each school district to adopt a plan.
